Welcome to Despite Pain

Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Liz and you can find a bit more about me here.

Chronic Pain can be Overwhelming

When we have chronic pain, we can easily become squashed down by it.

It can be unpredictable and so overwhelming.

Sometimes it can feel as if it is the only thing in our lives. But it is not. We can’t allow pain to do that to us.

But can we still enjoy life, despite pain? Can we live life and love life, despite it?

Recognise and acknowledge our pain

By recognising our pain and acknowledging how it affects us both physically and emotionally, we can find ways of coping. We can learn to overcome some of those emotions and deal with others.

But we also need to recognise how it doesn’t affect us. Despite pain, we can find things to laugh at, we can still love and we can enjoy life.

Most of my blog posts offer suggestions about how to cope with the many aspects of living with chronic pain.

Please follow my blog and social media pages. Stop by on Twitter or Facebook to say hello. I often ask questions on twitter as research for future posts. Why not join me there so you can take part?

Thank you for visiting my blog. Hope you enjoy the posts, and if you live with pain, hope it’s on a low level today.

I love to hear from readers, so please do leave a comment on posts.
